Product Details Brand Ner Mitzvah Fuel Jelled olive oil, pre-filled Count 45 cups Size Round Burn time Approximately 3 hours Includes Bonus travel kit Why choose the round 3 hour size? The extra burn time matters most on Friday. The menorah is lit before the Shabbos candles yet must last until half an hour after nightfall, and in 2026 that happens twice, on December 4 and December 11. A 3 hour cup gives the most margin in the jelled range: Large is listed at about 2.5 hours and Medium at about 2 hours. Pick round if your menorah's holders fit it. Customs differ, so ask your Rav. How do you light jelled oil cups? Set the night's cups in a straight row at one height, with the shamash apart. Light the wick. The oil is already in the cup, so there is nothing to pour. Keep the menorah away from curtains and never leave it unattended. Use the travel kit on nights away from home when you have no menorah with you. New to oil? See how to use an oil menorah .
