Eye Of The Storm
Yair Weinstock has done it again. Israel's master of suspense -- author of the bestselling Blackout and The Gordian Knot -- has woven another web of danger and suspense that is guaranteed to keep readers on the edges of their seats until they maneuver themselves through the last intrigue of this swashbuckler of a novel. Eli Flamm is a yeshivah student with a bright future in the world of Torah -- but a dark cloud hangs over him. What happened to his parents and brother twenty years ago? Why was he adopted? Why is there a veil of secrecy over his family? How were the State Department and CIA involved with his parents? Why did they leave Flatbush for India -- and why were they never heard from again? Eli sets out to find the answers, and his quest takes us to India and Israel, to Russia and Iran, to the alleyways of Jerusalem and the sacred soil of the Temple Mount. The mind honed on the intricacies of the Talmud solves inscrutable problems and unravels a tangle of international intrigue that endangers the security of Israel and threatens to plunge the world into an atomic inferno. The plot moves at breathtaking speed, hurtling between a kaleidoscope of international terrorists and a dizzying succession of plots. Jerusalem is the center of the universe, and it is there that the plotters converge and Eli darts desperately to prevent disaster. In the nick of time, his sister sees someone on a flight to Israel and ... No -- we won't give it away! Eye of the Storm is not for the fainthearted, but if you can't resist a fast-moving adventure that hurtles toward an electrifying climax, then this is the book for you!
