The Birchas Habayis is the blessing for the home, asking that what enters brings brocha and what leaves does no harm. It is one of the texts most commonly hung in a Jewish house. Traditionally it goes near the entrance. Putting it in lucite rather than a frame is a modern choice that suits a hallway without looking like a picture. See our Artwork collection . Why Buy It as a Present? A Birchas Habayis is the standard chanukas habayis gift. Someone moving into a new home will receive several things and remember the one that ends up on the wall. At $29.99 it is priced for that. It also works for a chosson and kallah setting up their first home. Browse more in our Benchers, Tefillos and Segulos collection . How Does It Compare With Framed Artwork? A framed print needs a hook, a straight wall and glass that catches fingerprints. Lucite is lighter, needs less, and wipes clean. The trade off is scale. If you want a statement piece above a dining table, framed artwork gives you more. For an entrance hall, lucite is the easier choice.
