I recently purchased a copy of the new Artscroll work "A Daily Dose of Torah." This work, which is more or less a modern-day Hok l'Yisrael, parcels out 18 minute learning sections covering Gemara, Siddur, Mussar, etc.

If you are without a Chavrusah and a limited Yeshiva/text background, and small chunks of time available throughout the day, I think its ideal.
