This volume is living history of the past 50 years as seen through the eyes of Rabbi Pressman. From book reviewer Jack Reimer "I read a lot of sermons and so by now I am able to skim a sermon pretty quickly. But I confess that when I read the closing sermon in this collection of sermons by Rabbi Jacob Pressman, that it bowled me over. I read it once and then once again, and then made my wife read it too, and then read it a third time, and since then, no one can come near me without having to listen to at least a part of it. He calls this sermon 'a tentative valedictory' but if he is still this eloquent and this insightful at his age, I hope that he will give many more sermons in the years to come."
